I am a big fan of biscuits instead of making a cake – you could bring it to one of two ways 1 – to make each card used in the Magdalena Poker (that would take some time, but it would be so worth it!) 2 – make enough cakes for everyone, and a bunch together, perhaps in the form of a poker table. Frost the cakes individually first, then handle together, frost, together to create a smooth surface. Decorate like a table poker, or perhaps go with your favorite suit of cards.
